Collection of node trees

new(name, type)

Add a new node tree to the main database

Parameters:

• name (string) – New name for the datablock.
• type (enum in [‘SHADER’, ‘COMPOSITE’, ‘TEXTURE’]) – Type, The type of node_group to add

Returns:

New node tree datablock.

Return type:

NodeTree

remove(tree)

Remove a node tree from the current blendfile.

Parameters:

• tree (NodeTree, (never None)) – Node tree to remove.
